Máirtín Ó Catháin is an anarchist and historian who works in the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. He was born in Glasgow in 1970 and lived in Halfway, Cambuslang and then Irvine and Newmilns in Ayrshire before moving to Derry City in the North of Ireland to study Irish History and Politics. He specialises in the history of the Irish in Scotland and various aspects of Irish labour history and has also done some work on anarchism in Glasgow and Belfast. He has been a member of a few anarchist groups over the years but has mostly been aligned with Organise! in Belfast.

Scope and Content

Includes scans of material relating to: the Glasgow Anarchist Group, including correspondence with Robert Lynn; the Scottish Federation of Anarchists and Frank Leech and digital print of The Anarchist.
