Administrative History
Here & Now originated in Glasgow as the successor journal to “Clydeside Anarchist”. The first issue appeared in spring 1985, after it was agreed to set up the new journal in December 1984. At the start, most of its members were involved with the Clydeside Anarchists group, as the introduction to the first issue states. By issue 5, a joint production schedule with a collective in West Yorkshire had commenced, many of the West Yorkshire group came from “The Pleasure Tendency”.
